This Just In: Water is wet, fire is hot, and Sesame Street will be in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Continuing a tradition almost as old as tracing your hand to draw a turkey, the Sesame Street float will once again ride down Sixth Avenue, holding up traffic and reminding the world that they should change the channel and watch the show.  For those of you counting, this is the 39th consecutive year that Sesame has been participating in the parade.  Amazing.

Other celebs confirmed for this year’s parade include Mariah Carey, Questlove of The Roots, and Pat Benatar.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC on November 26 (Thanksgiving Day!) starting at 9:00am.
