Secret Santa
Part 1: The Switch Is On
"Merry Christmas, everyone!" Ed Sullivan is here, in his oddly decorated living room set, to read a story to the children. He introduces the main characters -- the elves in Santa's workshop, and the mean Frackles who live in a secret cave right underneath the shop...

"At the North Pole, in that special place where Santa Claus lives, it was the day before Christmas, the most exciting day of the year -- and everything was going beautifully."

The elves are all busy at their work stations, making toys. Santa enters, with a cheery good morning. "It's time for the morning meeting!" The elves do a roll call: Zippety! Skippety! Hoppity! Bing! Bong! and Fred.
To start off the meeting, Santa shows off some magic -- the disappearing coin trick. He does a few passes with his hands.

Wowww! The coin magically disappeared!

Yeah, and another coin magically appeared on the floor!

Yeah!

I'll keep working on it.

Speaking of that, tonight is Christmas Eve, so we have lots of work to do. Here are the assignments for today: Zippety, you work on toy airplanes!

We'll comb the cats.

I'll fix the dolls so each one cries.

While you do that, I'll supervise.

Good idea!

We're happy little Christmas elves. We never are forlorn. We fill up all of Santa's shelves For the kiddies Christmas morn.

They'll build a lot of pretty toys For all the little girls and boys.
