Sesame Street is so full of history, I imagine it would be difficult to properly pay homage to it with just one image. Heck, with around 120 episodes per season in the early years, it feels impossible to depict one year’s worth of content in one illustration.
Fan artist Tony Whitaker has proven me wrong. Tony illustrated a series in which he filled a page with tons of references for each of the first 20 seasons, including obscure characters, old Sesame animations, specific episode references, and tons of Easter eggs.
