I know, you’ve been on the edge of your seat, not-so-patiently awaiting word from The Jim Henson Company about the results of the Dark Crystal equivalent of the Academy Awards. Well, wait no longer!
The winners of the Dark Crystal Fan Film Competition have been announced! The grand prize goes to Kristin Dalleske’s film “The Promise,” which you can watch right below the description:
The ageing emperor of the Skeksis sends The Chamberlain in search of new sources of life essence. Two members of the Freeling tribe encounter the destruction left in his wake. Before they can act, Arden, the elder of the Freeling tribe is kidnapped. The young Freeling Trystan must gather his courage and venture forth to save his friend and mentor.
