According to TV Guide, Miss Piggy and Pepe will be seen in a bonus feature on the Desperate Housewives sixth season DVDs, to be released this September. The full title of the DVD set is Desperate Housewives: The Complete Sixth Season – The All Mighty Edition, which seems like a bit much, but whatever. Piggy will be interviewing the women of Wisteria Lane and the show’s creator Marc Cherry… and if I had to guess, I’d say Pepe will probably spend a lot of time ogling them. The women, I mean.
I haven’t watched Desperate Housewives since the first season, so I have no idea whether it’s still any good, but this sounds like a neat way to continue reminding people that the Muppets still exist in popular culture… So, yeah. The Muppets are going to be on a new DVD release! You know what would be even better? DVDs of The Muppet Show season four.
