Given Steve Martin’s passion for the banjo, and given Kermit’s equal penchant for the banjo, and given Steve Martin’s history with the Muppets, it’s a wonder we’ve never seen these two pickers play a duet together. Now, thanks to the folks at Funny or Die, we get exactly that.
Check out the video below, which is so, so brilliant in its simplicity. (Is anyone else getting an old school Muppet Show vibe from this? Just a Muppet and a celebrity playing a song, with no cutaways or bad puns to interrupt the talent. We need more of this!)
