Have you ever said to yourself, “Self, I love Groupon, I want to donate to an autism awareness charity, and I want to visit Sesame Street, but I don’t know how to do all three at the same time.”  I know I have!  So, good news for all of us.

Over on Groupon.com, you can spend $10 on Sesame Workshop’s autism initiative, which will automatically enroll you in a contest to win some amazing stuff, including a trip to the set of Sesame Street!  It’s win-win-win! The full list of prizes is as follows:

  • Behind-the-scenes tour of Sesame Street during a live taping at the Kaufman Astoria studio (children must be 4 years old or older to visit the set)
  • Original drawing of the winner with the Muppets, drawn by the associate design director of special projects at Sesame Workshop, Louis Henry Mitchell
  • $400 dining credit at Bobby Van’s Steakhouse
  • Round-trip coach airfare for four to New York
  • Three-night stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Metropolitan New York in a deluxe room with two queen-size beds
  • Ground transportation from the NY airport to the hotel and from the hotel back to the airport, as well as transportation to and from the Sesame Street studio
  • The experience will happen in February at a time agreed upon by both the winner and Sesame Workshop

Click here to visit the Groupon’s page and learn more about how to donate and how to enter.  The winner will be drawn on Monday, November 24.

As an added bonus, here’s a new video of Grover with a family with two autistic children.  Grover is, unexpectedly, adorable.  And so are the kids.
