A few weeks ago, I got an email from artist Jon Brangwynne. Jon illustrated a tribute to Kevin Clash and wanted to submit it to our Mup Art Show feature. Naturally, I thought it was excellent, so I took a peek at Jon’s DeviantArt page and spotted more Muppet fan art. And lucky for us, it’s all pretty dang good!
I was especially impressed by the “old school” style that Jon uses in most of his illustrations, taking some of the characters back to their 1970s designs, while keeping the rest fresh and familiar. Jon obviously has a great love for the characters, and we’re proud to display his work for all of you.
