Last month, we learned that The Muppets was nominated for a Kids’ Choice Award on Nickelodeon. And now nobody cares about that news, because we have bigger news to overshadow it.
The Muppets has won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Family TV Show! It beat Agents of SHIELD, Modern Family, Once Upon a Time, Big Bang Theory, and The Flash, because all of those shows are garbage compared to The Muppets.
Unfortunately, because it’s a Nickelodeon awards show, no Disney-owned Muppets appeared in person to accept the award. Bummer.
Congrats to all of the Muppet performers, producers, cast, and crew for this win! Hopefully someone at ABC is taking notice and it will help the show’s chances for a second season renewal.
