By now you’ve no doubt seen the cover art for the upcoming Blu-ray release of The Great Muppet Caper and Muppet Treasure Island. It looks like this:
It could be worse. But let’s face it: It could be a lot better. Which can only mean one thing: This is where YOU come in. As we like to do around here, I want to see what YOU, the readers of this website, can come up with as an alternative to the official cover.
Here’s the deal: Design your own cover for The Great Muppet Caper & Muppet Treasure Island Blu-ray, and e-mail it to me at Ryan@ToughPigs.com by September 24. It can be a legitimate redesign, or it can be silly. It can use elements from the existing cover, or it can be a completely new creation. Shortly after the deadline, I’ll post all the good ones here.
Oh, and get this: This time, we’re actually giving away REAL PRIZES! That’s right — our three favorite entries will each receive a Very Special Thing, straight from the Tough Pigs Cache of Muppet Stuff, which may or may not have much monetary value, but will surely be worth more than the Baseball Diamond or Captain Flint’s treasure in a Muppet fans’ eyes. DISCLAIMER: Prizes can only be shipped to addresses in the USA. It’s not that we’re discriminatory; we’re just cheap.
