If you happened to be checking ToughPigs back in January, and if you have a decent memory, you’d know that Miss Piggy and the Swedish Chef are planning to make an appearance on Gordon Ramsay’s Masterchef Jr.  And that time is impending!

The episode featuring the guy who says “bork” and the lady made of pork will air this Thursday, May 4th at 8/7c on Fox.  The Muppet duo will be judging the tiny chefs’ dishes, which will prove to be difficult since they are puppets and do not have taste buds.

How will all that drama unfold?  I guess you’ll have to tune in to find out!

Original article, posted January 4, 2017:

Remember a couple years ago when the Swedish Chef had a food truck battle with Gordon Ramsay?  I guess Ramsay wants a little payback, as he’s invited the Chef (along with non-gibberish speaker Miss Piggy) onto his new show.

A teaser for the new season of Masterchef Jr. has premiered online, and we can clearly see Piggy and the Swedish Chef as surprise guests.  We don’t yet know when their episode will air, but we’ll keep you updated once we find out.

In the meantime, check out the teaser below, which also features celebs like Michelle Obama, Julie Bowen, Mayim Bialik, Martha Stewart, and Wolfgang Puck.  Pop quiz: Which of those celebrities have not worked with the Muppets? The answer (at the bottom of the page) may surprise you!  Or not, if you’ve memorized the Muppet Wiki.

Trivia answer: Mayim Bialik has never worked with the Muppets!  Michelle Obama met the Muppets several times, Julie Bowen appeared in a YouTube video with Kermit and Piggy, Wolfgang Puck met Kermit and Pepe at the Grammys in 2008, and Martha Stewart is responsible for two of the greatest Muppet appearances in history.
