Sesame Street Wins Five More Emmys For Their Emmy Tower

Surprising no one, Sesame Street has won yet another batch of Daytime Emmy Awards, thus continuing their mission to someday collect all of them Emmys into once place and build a tower made of Emmys that will reach to the moon.

Of the 13 nominations they received, Sesame is walking away with five wins.  The winners are:

Outstanding Writing in a Children’s or Pre-School Children’s Series
(Joey Mazzarino, Molly Boylan, Annie Evans, Christine Ferraro, Michael Goldberg, Emily Kingsley, Luis Santeiro, Ed Valentine, Belinda Ward, and John Weidman)

Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing
(Todd James, Jesse Averna, and John Tierney)

Outstanding Sound Editing – Live Action
(Michael Barrett, Chris Prinzivalli, Michael Croiter, Jorge Muelle, Chris Sassano, and Dick Maitland)

Outstanding Original Song
“Power of Yet” (Bill Sherman and Joey Mazzarino)

Outstanding Costume Design/Styling
(Brian Hemesath, Jared Leese, Erin Slattery Black, Elizabeth Hara, Liz Hara, Michelle Hickey, John Douglas James, Rollie Krewson, Sarah Lafferty, Lara Mclean, Anney Ozar, Connie Peterson, Jane Pien, Sarah Schoening, Polly Smith, and Jason Weber)
