When Jim Henson created The Storyteller, I wonder if he knew the sort of legacy he was creating.  The concept of the Storyteller, his dog, and the stories themselves are so versatile, they can go on forever.  Even now, decades after the far-too-few episodes premiered, we’re still seeing new tales from the Storyteller.

Hot on the heels of Storyteller: Witches, which was hot on the tail of the excellent Storyteller graphic novel, Archaia has announced a new comic miniseries, this time focusing on dragons.

Beginning in December, The Storyteller: Dragons will be a four-issue miniseries exploring different dragon myths from around the world.

According to Comics Alliance, the first issue will be written by Fabian Rangel Jr. with art by Daniel Bayliss, as they tell the tale of the Horned Snake and the Thunderbird, inspired by Native American traditions. Issue #2, written by Nathan Pride, will tackle the Celtic tale of the Lambton Worm.  Issue #3, by Hannah Christenson, will be a Russian folktale about a knight and squire fighting the three-headed dragon Tugarin.  And the final issue, by Jorge Corona, is a Japanese tale about a young girl facing the dragon Yofune Nushi.

The covers for all four issues are below:
