As of right now, The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper are available to stream instantly on Netflix. Of course you already own them on Blu-ray and/or DVD and/or VHS and/or Super 8. But who wants to stand up, walk to the entertainment center, open a DVD case, take the the disc out, and put it in the player? I’m exhausted just thinking about it. I may even have to take a nap after writing this.
And what could be better than being to watch the first two Muppet movies at the touch of a button? Being able to watch the first THREE Muppet movies. As we previously reported, The Muppets Take Manhattan is also currently available on Netflix. Be sure to tell all your friends who don’t own the movies, so they can revisit Animal getting really big and Gonzo jumping in front of a taxi and Gregory Hines running around in shorts. Everyone wins!
Then after you’ve watched those films, you can move on to the other titles Netflix recommends as being similar, such as Primates of the Seven Seas, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, Honey We Shrunk Ourselves, and Vampire Dog.
