There it is! That’s the image that will soon be on your shelf, since everyone reading this will most likely be running to the store to buy your very own copy of The Muppet Movie on Blu-Ray. But when, you may be asking no one in particular, will we be running to this store you speak of?

It’s interesting to note that although Fozzie’s Studebaker graces the cover art, none of the character photos are from the Muppet Movie era. Miss Piggy has her ultra modern hairstyle, Animal’s rocking his trendy sunglasses, and The Swedish Chef, Statler, and Waldorf are there, despite never setting foot anywhere near Fozzie’s car in the film. It’s also strange to see that photo of Kermit, which we recognize as being the one where his arms are folded behind his back, with Photoshopped hands on the windshield. But whatever, it could be a picture of Mr. Willowby and Hannah Montana and I’d be happy.
