Don’t let that handsome, hipstery mug fool you. This guy is a stone-cold villain. Or so we hear.
The latest news from The Muppets‘ new showrunner Kristin Newman includes the tidbit that Utkarsh Ambudkar will be playing a new pivotal role on the show: A “branding guru” who’s making waves by enforcing changes on Up Late with Miss Piggy.
You may recognize Ambudkar from his role in Pitch Perfect or as Mindy’s brother Rishi on The Mindy Project. But from now on, you’ll only recognize him as the guy who’s attempting to rip the Muppets’ dreams in half. The scoundrel!
The good news is that a villain (who isn’t Piggy) will force the Muppets to unite, so we have high hopes for him. But we also preemptively hate him. So we’ll see!
