Following his surprise appearance on The Today Show this week, rumors say that Frank Oz will be making a few more appearances over the next few days to talk about the Muppet Pipes at NBC Studios. Unfortunately, rumors are still rumors, so please take these newsbits with a grain or two of salt.
We know for a fact that Brian Williams interviewed Frank Oz about the pipes a few weeks ago. That interview should be showing up on the NBC Nightly News soon, possibly tonight (Tuesday, June 8). Of course, news schedules are always up in the air, so if the interview isn’t on tonight, it should be aired within the next few days.
Frank will also appear – or has already appeared – on Al Roker’s morning show, “Wake Up with Al”, which airs on The Weather Channel. There are no details on their website yet, so we’ll confirm this as soon as we can.
Hopefully both of these rumors will turn out to be true! And more hopefully, we won’t stay in this rumor-spreading business very long.
And of course, we’ll post videos of both appearances once they are available online, so watch this space!
