Coffee and chow mein. Every time the Muppets make commercials — Pepe selling Long John Silver’s food, Miss Piggy pitching Lays potato chips, what have you — some fans object that the Muppets are too pure to be soiled by mercenary consumerism. But during the decade and a half between Sam and Friends and Sesame Street, Henson and his company paid the bills and kept the company going by making nutty, thrilling, ground-breaking TV ads. This month in the Anthology, you get a sampling of some of the best. Make yourself a cup, and don’t touch that dial.

Part One – Want a Cup?
Part Two – Got Kraml?
Part Three – Dragon Fire
Part Four – Another Coffee Break
Part Five – Tender, Meaty Richness
Part Six – Gone to the Dogs

By the way, for people who care about this sort of thing: I have the titles for some of the commercials in the Anthology this month, but not all of them. All the titles in quotes are the actual ad titles, titles without quotes are made up.
