I think we’re starting to see a pattern emerge. We get a room full of Muppet fans, we show them a compilation of some awesome Muppet videos, and then everyone tells us how much fun they had. Oh, and then everyone reading this wishes they could’ve joined in on the fun, which you can totally do at the next Muppet Vault event! Details coming up in a minute…
Muppet Vault: Monsters! was yet another big success. We had almost 50 attendees, including a lot of families, a nice couple all the way from Tennessee, and a photographer from Time Out New York magazine. We celebrated all things monstery and Halloweeny by showing the Vincent Price and Alice Cooper episodes of The Muppet Show, as well as a few compilations starring our favorite Muppet Show and Sesame Street monsters, vampires, and things that scared the junk outta us as kids. We also gave away some prizes, ate some Halloween candy, and indulged in some drink specials (the “Bloody Piggy” and “Sweetums Tea”). I know, I know, you wish you were there.

The next event will be Muppet Vault: Fraggles! on Sunday, November 21 at 2pm. We’ll be screening some of our favorite Fraggle Rock episodes and songs, starring the Fraggle Five, a Gorg or two, and a big ol’ pile of Doozers. And we’ll dance our cares away with trivia, prizes, and drink specials. All that and a bag of chips for just $5! Chips not guaranteed.
Once again, the event will be held at The Knitting Factory at 361 Metropolitan Ave. in Brooklyn, New York, which is easily accessible by subway, bus, and your own two feet. Click here for a map of the neighborhood.

She’ll be presenting some Fraggle Rock clips, answering all your pressing questions about writing for Doozers, and signing copies of her comics!
