Well, it wouldn’t be a Muppet story if everything went right.
If you’ve been to ToughPigs Dot Com anytime in the past few months, you may have seen that ToughPigs isn’t ToughPigs. It might be a foreign gambling site or an online knitting store or, I dunno, an ALF fan site or something. Needless to say, none of this was planned.
Yes, our little website has been the victim of hackers. And since our talents lie in writing about wiggling dolls and not coding and web security, it’s taking us some time to clear the cobwebs and boot out the uninvited guests.
This is all to say, posts on this website may be few and far between until we can fix the back end of our website. We have a pro working on it now, but it will take a bit of time. And we don’t want to continue linking back to our site if we can’t be sure that the site will actually be there.
But that doesn’t mean we’ll be sitting on our hands! We’re still working on several podcasts, all of which will still be publishing on their regular schedules. Muppet chat continues on the ToughPigs Discord. And we’ll keep on posting the latest news and memes on our Bluesky, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook feeds.
The whole situation is rather frustrating, but we’re not down and out about the whole thing. The Muppet Show has taught us that even the best forms of entertainment can be wrought with catastrophe, and it’s up to our own tenacity to put on a good show. So we’ll keep at it, and we’ll be back to full form before you know it.
