First, Rizzo the Rat got PizzeRizzo, then Sam the Eagle got the Regal Eagle Smokehouse, then Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker got Brew-Wing Lab at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Now, the latest Muppet-themed eatery is coming to Walt Disney World, and at long last, they picked the Muppet known for making food.
Disney announced FØØD by Swedish Chef is coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Like real soon. Like May 26, the same day that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets officially opens. And what an unbelievable coincidence, it’ll be located near the ride’s exit, taking over KRNR The Rock Station.
So far, all Disney’s revealed about the menu is that it’ll feature snacks and drinks. (We’re hoping Svenskas Tacos, his specialty from The Muppets at Walt Disney World, makes the cut.) We also got a teaser of a churro, because what would a Disney Park be without a churro? Still, after all this time, it’s nice to see the culinary genius (or madman) of the Muppets get his rightful place in the park. And as a reminder, restrooms will be located a short walk away.
