The Museum of the Moving Image (lovingly referred to by fans as MoMI) has been the home of The Jim Henson Exhibition as well as a central meeting point for Henson fans for years. So it’s extra exciting to learn that more Muppets are on their way to the museum soon.

Three original puppets of the Muppet Babies – Baby Kermit, Baby Gonzo, and Baby Rowlf – have been restored and will be on display with the rest of the Henson exhibit. In addition to getting to see these three little guys, MoMI (with a little help from Bank of America) will be hosting a weekend celebration.

On June 21st, they’ll be hosting hands-on workshops for kids, including illustrations, paper bag puppet making, and green screen video fun. There will also be a special screening of The Muppets Take Manhattan and live music by John Koozin.

On June 22nd, The Muppets Take Manhattan will be screened once again, followed by a special Q&A with puppet builders from the Henson Workshop.
