Over the past few years, we’ve been celebrating all things Muppets and all things fan art (and beyond) with Muppetational May. Folks seem to dig it, so we’re doing it again!
Here’s the scoop. Every day through the month of May, you’ll get a Muppet-related art prompt. And then you’ll create something creative inspired by the prompt. It’ll be up to you to define it however you want. Some are simple (i.e. “Draw Rowlf the Dog”) and some are open-ended (“Draw a Muppet bird”) and some are just quotes or movie scenes to inspire you.
If you want to play along, feel free to draw or paint or embroider or write an epic poem. There are no rules, and those are the rules.

- May 16: Make a Jim Henson-inspired design or doodle (for Jim Henson remembrance day)
- May 17: “It’s not easy being green”
- May 18: A Muppet/fairy tale crossover (for the 25th anniversary of Shrek)
- May 19: Any character whose name starts with “Miss,” “Mrs.,” “Mr.,” “Dr.,” or “Professor”
- May 20: Draw a Sam & Friends character
- May 21: “I love trash”
- May 22: A scene from Muppets Most Wanted
- May 23: A Muppet Funko Pop
- May 24: A Muppet robot
- May 25: “It’s The Muppet Show, with our very special guest, _____!”
- May 26: A Muppet on a theme park ride (for the Muppets’ Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster opening)
- May 27: A Muppet as a Disney Princess (or, any princess)
- May 28: Any creature from Fraggle Rock
- May 29: Draw Kermit making the “sheesh face”
- May 30: A scene from any Muppet Christmas special or movie
- May 31: “Life’s like a movie, write your own ending”
