We sad to report that Fraggle Rock crew member Wayne Moss has passed away. Moss served as a stage manager for the entire run of the series, and also got a chance to direct two episodes of the final season (“Mirror, Mirror” and “The Trial of Cotterpin Doozer”). You can see him in action in the wrap party video, “Fraggles Look for Jobs.”
Moss continued to work on subsequent Henson projects, floor managing and directing on The Jim Henson Hour, A Muppet Family Christmas, and the Canadian co-production of Sesame Street (including directing the 1990 special, Basil Hears a Noise). Outside of Henson, he worked on such projects as Shining Time Station, Grounding Marsh, and The Big Comfy Couch. He will be missed, but his work certainly lives on.
