Bakeries across Italy better stock up on the biscotti, because Cookie Monster, Elmo, and more are coming their way for the 2026 Winter Olympics!
The news broke on the Today show this morning that the gang from Sesame Street will be joining NBC’s coverage of the games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, which run from February 6-22, 2026.
This marks the second consecutive Olympics where Sesame’s collaborated with NBC. Previously, they teamed up for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. The characters interviewed athletes including Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky, which proved to be comedy gold. Here’s hoping Cookie Monster eats a bobsled, or Elmo gets into a feud with a curling stone!
