Just when we got used to tuning in to The Muppets every Tuesday at 8:00pm (7:00pm Central), ABC goes and changes the status quo! There’s a quo for a reason, ABC!
Beginning with the next new episode on February 2nd, The Muppets will air at 8:30/7:30c, still on Tuesdays. Okay, so it’s not the most drastic change ever, but it’s a change nonetheless.
We have no idea what this means for the future of the show. Does ABC think this will get more viewers? Or are they pushing it out of the way to burn off the remainder of the episode order? Time will tell.
In the meantime, we’ll keep on watching! Just, y’know, a half hour later.
