Michael Davis’ 2008 book Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street was a New York Times best-seller, and got made into a motion picture just a few years ago. But, the title has seen become inaccurate, as there has since been a lot more history to Sesame Street to talk about since it originally came out. But, this year, that’ll all change!
Davis took to Reddit to officially announce that a second volume of the Sesame saga, entitled Street Fight, is coming this fall. The book is planned to be published by Rutgers University Press, and promises to have “delicious dish and untold tales for every generation.” Sounds delicious! I certainly hope he gets to the bottom of why we don’t see Flo Bear anymore.
