First Look at Happytime Murders Poster

The Jim Henson Company’s upcoming film, The Happytime Murders, is set to premiere in theaters on August 17, 2018.  That’s only about four months away!  Promotions for the film should be right around the corner.  And, as we’ve learned, they are.

The poster for Happytime Murders was on display at Cinema Con, and Erik Davis (Managing Editor of Fandango) snapped a photo of it for his Twitter.

As you can see, the poster features Melissa McCarthy and “Phil Phillips”, the puppet detective portrayed by Bill Barretta.  The tagline (“Justice isn’t always warm and fuzzy”) is appropriately puppety.

So now we’re expecting more posters (or at least a better version to share) and a trailer so we can start really ramping up our excitement for the film.  Stay tuned for more Happytime news shortly!
