Last night, Paul Williams appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and as Jimmy tends to do, he convinced his guest star to appeal to his nostalgic audience while delivering a kick-ass performance.
So of course, Williams sang his most famous banjo ditty “The Rainbow Connection” along with Jimmy’s house band, The Roots (who may be the oddest, yet most appropriate performers to ever play the song).
