Season 45 of the PBS wildlife series Nature begins this fall, and they’re kicking off the new season with a new Sesame Street special!
The season premiere will be a special episode titled “Sesame Street and the Great Elephant Adventure.” In this new special, Elmo, Abby, and Nina adopt a baby elephant online, and then travel to Kenya to meet her and go on safari. Yes, the actual Muppets (and Nina) will be on-location in Africa for this production. Many of the last few Sesame specials have either been shot on greenscreen or animated, so it’s really incredible they’re not only out of a studio, but out of the country as well.
The special episode will premiere this fall on October 14. Until then, enjoy this video preview!
