I truly don’t recall who the commencement speaker was at my college graduation. Perhaps that’s because they weren’t a movie star. Or maybe because they didn’t stand out like flashy sparkles on the water or stars in the sky. So of course, I’m jealous of The University of Maryland’s graduating class of 2025, because they got a commencement speaker that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.
Yes, Kermit the Frog returned to Jim Henson’s alma mater to impart some wise words to the graduating class. And even though we weren’t graduating along with them, we can still watch Kermit’s speech from the comforts of our own homes.
