Audiophiles are getting a present for the Muppets’ 70th anniversary: for the first time ever, The Green Album is being released on vinyl!

The album, appropriately pressed on green vinyl, is now available for pre-order at Disney Music Emporium for $27.99. This rerelease includes an exclusive message from Kermit the Frog and some art straight out of 2011.

For those of you who didn’t immediately have The Fray’s rendition of “Mahna Mahna” pop into your head, The Green Album is a collection of timeless Muppet songs covered by contemporary artists. Songs include “The Muppet Show Theme” as performed by OK Go, “Rainbow Connection” by Weezer featuring Hayley Williams, “Movin’ Right Along” by The Alkaline Trio, and “Our World” by My Morning Jacket. You can read our review of the album here!

The album officially releases May 7, just two days before the 70th anniversary of the first broadcast of Sam and Friends, Jim Henson’s first television series.
