UPDATE: See below for even more guest stars!

We’ve been waiting patiently for news about the Muppets’ live show at the O2 in London, and we finally have some (rumored, yet reliable) info from The Sun (courtesy of the Muppet Mindset, from whom we’re totally cribbing this news) about what celebrities we can expect to see on stage with Kermit and the gang.

The first guest is the singer and actress Kylie Minogue!  You may remember her from that one time she sang a song with Kermit, way back in 2001:

The second and third guests are David Tennant and Peter Davison, better known to Doctor Who fans as The Doctor and… The Doctor.  (It’s complicated.)  These two will be doing something with the Pigs in Space crew, which is painfully appropriate.

The final guest star is Kevin Bishop!  What, you don’t recognize that name?  Well, you’d definitely know him as Jim Hawkins, the (human) star of Muppet Treasure Island!!!  This will be Bishop’s first time working with the Muppets since his Treasure Island days, over 20 years ago!

UPDATE: We have now learned about a few more stars coming to the show!  Attendees at The Muppets Take the O2 should expect to see Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, Last Action Hero), Australian comedian and TV host Adam Hills, and the British dance-pop group Steps!

Apparently some stars will be seen during the Friday show, and others during the two shows on Saturday.  We recommend attending BOTH, just to make sure you don’t miss anything.

We’re extremely excited about this show, and we’re also super jealous of our friends across the pond who will get to be there in person.

The show is coming up on July 13 and July 14, and tickets are still available! Click here to get yours!
