We are mere days away from having to say farewell to MuppetVision 3D at Walt Disney World. While many fans have been flocking to Hollywood Studios for one final experience in the Muppet Theater, WDW News Today is organizing a larger-scale event to pay homage to the attraction in an explosive way.
“A Glorious 3-Day Finale” will be held in Orlando (and streaming) from June 5th to June 7th. The event will include panels, presentations, meet-and-greets, and of course – one final group viewing of MuppetVision 3D.
Special guests will include Muppet performer Steve Whitmire, who performed Bean Bunny and Waldo in the attraction; production designer Paul Osterhout, Disney Imagineer Eric Jacobson (no, not that Eric Jacobson); Executive Creative Show Producer Kathy Rogers; Henson Company producer Rita Peruggi; Muppet props master Fred Buccholz; and visual effects designer Jim Mulder.
