Joe Apel is an incredible artist and animator who has worked for Nickelodeon, Warner Brothers, and even did storyboard work for Disney Junior’s Muppet Babies! Oh, and let’s not bury the lead here, the man has met Jim Henson!
Joe has agreed to let us show off some of his incredible Muppet artwork, featuring a lot of Muppets as fish and mermaids! He’s also sent in some rough drawings he did when he was a kid, that was ultimately signed by Jim Henson and Steve Whitmire, which you can see at the end of this spotlight.
