“The Muppets make their annual appearance at The Game Awards” would be a confusing thing to tell a Muppet fan in the year 1998, and yet, it’s the reality we live in now. The Muppets have made some kind of appearance at the Game Awards ceremony nearly every year since 2018 (they missed 2021), and guess what? It’s still happening this year!
It has been announced that this year, there will be TWO Muppet representatives! They will be none other than Miss Piggy, last seen getting arrested at a Sabrina Carpenter concert. Perhaps this is her punishment? Ha, I kid! There’s also Rowlf the Dog, who hasn’t really shown up in much of anything since Muppets Haunted Mansion in 2021, except for some social media videos talkin’ about, um, Foo-Foo or whatever. It’ll be nice to see him say some more stuff!
The Game Awards ceremony will be held December 11. The show starts at7:30pm EST and you can stream it online for free!
