With every Muppet production, I wonder what happens to all the stuff not being used. Not just the puppets, but the props, set pieces, and costumes. I imagine an endless corridor with thousands of poorly labeled wooden crates, any one of which could hold priceless gems of Henson history.

So it’s always a treat when a few of those pieces find their way into the public eye. For example: costumes from The Muppet Christmas Carol! According to WDW News Today, you can see some iconic outfits on display at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios. At “Walt Disney Presents” (situated between Animation Courtyard and Pixar Plaza), they’ve got a holiday display up featuring relics from classic films like The Santa Clause, Babes in Toyland, Noelle, and the bad boy of the bunch, Muppet Christmas Carol.

Just beyond a thin pane of glass, park goers can spot costumes from Charles Dickens (Gonzo), Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog), Tiny Tim (Robin), and Rizzo the Rat (Rizzo the Rat), as well as a model of some Dickensian houses.

Check out the photos below (courtesy of WDWNT), and if you happen to be in Orlando before the end of the year, be sure to scope them out in person!
