Sadly, the magic of Muppets on Broadway is coming to an early end. Rob Lake Magic with Special Guests the Muppets announced today that the show will have its last performance on Sunday, November 16.
While the show was always planned to have a limited Broadway run, it was initially announced that it would be performed at the Broadhurst Theatre through January 18, 2026. While it’s disappointing to see the show’s time on the Great White Way cut short, we do hope that this proved that the Muppets can work on Broadway, and that they get the chance to do so again very soon.
We’d like to thank Rob Lake and his team for helping to making this dream come true. We’d also like to acknowledge the production’s puppeteers, John Cody, Ben Durocher, Matthew Furtado, Noel MacNeal, Sebastiano Ricci, Stoph Scheer, and Puppet Captain Peter Linz, for their hard work and great puppetry skills in bringing Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the gang to life eight shows a week.
