Man, it’s been awhile, huh? Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock season 2 dropped over a year ago and it’s been pretty radio silent since then about more episodes. Well, there’s good news and bad news! The bad news is there still isn’t word about a season 3. But the good news is that we’re at least getting a new holiday special!
Hitting AppleTV (minus the plus now) on December 5, get ready for “The First Snow of Fraggle Rock.” Here’s a synopsis!
The Fraggles eagerly await the first snow of the season and all the traditions it brings, but when only a single snowflake arrives and Gobo can’t write the yearly holiday song everyone is expecting, the season is thrown off course. For the first time ever, Gobo journeys to the human world — or, as the Fraggles refer to it: Outer Space — to find some unexpected musical inspiration. And in another first, back at the Gorgs’ castle, Junior is overwhelmed by the arrival of a new baby Gorg joining the family. This holiday season, the Fraggles and Gorgs learn that beautiful moments aren’t always perfect — but they can be as unique and memorable as snowflakes.
Wow! Gobo going into Outer Space! A new Gorg baby! What other crazy stuff can we expect?? Hows about an appearance by singer Lele Pons, who will perform a duet of the classic Fraggle tune “Our Melody” with Gobo. The special also feature two additional songs.
